What is the weather like in the Outer Banks in August?

​Expect warm, humid days with highs in the mid-80°F and mild nights in the low 70s°F. Afternoon showers or thunderstorms are common, so pack light layers and rain gear. ​

Will there be any out-of-pocket costs?​

During the official dates of the program, expenses associated with overnight accommodations, sponsored meals, and activities will be covered for you. Incidental charges (i.e., meals not listed on the official program, shopping, etc.) incurred during your stay will be at your own expense.

Will I be responsible for any tips or gratuities?​

We’ve got it covered! All tips and gratuities for meals and sponsored activities are included. Gratuities for additional activities or services outside of the program are at your own expense.
